Day 1Elsen tasarkhai- Mini Gobi

Into the wild!

Start your day by heading up to Elsen tasarkhai an expansive sand dune stretching over 80 km, located 200 km from Ulaanbaatar. Experience the diversity of nature at Elsen Tasarkhai, often referred to as Mini Gobi, where sand dunes, high mountain hills, rivers, and grassland converge in one place. Continue your day with camel riding on the soft, golden sands of the dunes, creating unforgettable moments in the heart of the Mini Gobi. Indulge in further exploration with a leisurely hike amidst the sand dunes, a stroll through the lush green grass, or playful moments by the river.

Take the opportunity to explore the nomadic lifestyle by visiting an authentic Halh nomad family, where you can try the famous Mongolian alcoholic drink, fermented milk (airag).

Spend your first evening surrounded by the untamed beauty of Mongolian wilderness.

Day 2 UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE

TO THE VALLEY!

Embark on a journey through the vast 121,967-ha Orkhon Valley- UNESCO world heritage, a stretch of pastureland on both sides of the Orkhon River with archaeological wonders dating back to the 6th century. Our first stop is the small town of Hujirt for a lunch.

After a lunch, delve deeper into the Orkhon Valley. Our initial destination is the “Bend of Uurt,” nestled at the foothills of the Khangai Mountains. Here, you’ll enjoy a splendid view of the river, trees, and the surrounding area.

Following that, we’ll visit the Ulaan Tsutgalaan falls, where a white cascade on black stones transforms into a rainbow with a brief sunray. These 16-meter (52.49 feet) falls are pure magic, shaped 20,000 years ago by a unique combination of earthquakes and volcano eruptions. Take a hike down to the falls, walk around the river, and immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere.

As the day concludes, find serenity in the official central part of Mongolia which promises a refreshing and peaceful night in the heart of Mongolia’s natural beauty.

Day 3- Day 6Orkhon Valley - Naiman nuur Lake - Orkhon Valley

Days dedicated to the unparalleled joy of horse riding, an activity deeply woven into the fabric of Mongolian culture. With the saying, “Mongolians are nations born on horseback,” experience the essence of this heritage.

The extensive horse riding session, spanning for 4 full days, offers a profound sense of freedom, a connection to nature, and a bond with these remarkable animals.

The first day of the riding, you will stay at Boorog camp, cute little camp in the middle of forest.

Continuing your second day to reach beautiful lake Naiman nuur, serene place only touched by human and horse feet. Connect with the spirit of this serene place only very few people ever visited

For the third day going back to your trip and riding through a Orkhon Valley. From this day, you will enjoy the even more, feeling one with the horse. As you reach the nomads in the evening, gather around for a traditional Mongolian barbecue, known as horhog, savoring authentic flavors in the midst of nature.

Your horse riding journey will end around midday of 4th day giving you a chance to rest in a camp for that extensive, adventures journey. At the last day of the horse riding session, gather around the campfire, celebrate your engaging in warm conversations and enjoying the company of hospitable Mongolians. It’s a day filled with the simple joys of horsemanship, nature, and shared moments by the fire.

Day 7Tsenher hot spring spa

Picture yourself unwinding in a cozy jacuzzi nestled in a lush wooded haven, surrounded by the soothing embrace of natural medicinal springs. This day is for resting your mind and body in a natural hot spring. We will reach the Tsenher hot spring by lunchtime. It is the second hottest spring in Mongolia (86 celcius) containing hydrosulfuric acid and silica, utilized for medical treatments. Tsenkher Hot Spring is beneficial for addressing conditions such as rheumatism, neuralgia, muscular pain, and arthralgia, while also aiding in the improvement of the digestive system, post-surgery immunity restoration, and overall recharging.

After lunch, have a short walk to the origin of the Hot Spring. To add a playful touch, bring along an egg and try boiling it in the natural hot spring—a whimsical memory in the making. If experiences like walking in the forest, or hiking up to the mountain are other ways you may find more relaxing, you are free to do so.

As the day winds down, engage in delightful conversations with friends while soaking in the warmth of the jacuzzi. Open air pools with a view of forested hills, this day promises to be a cherished moment of relaxation and renewal.

Day 8TO THE OLD CAPITAL

Have a slow morning and, you will reach the Kharhorin city by lunch time. Start your a journey to Kharkhorin city, surrounded by the breathtaking vistas of the Mongolian green steppes. Situated in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Orkhon Valley, Kharkhorin served as the capital of the Mongol Empire in the 13th century, marking the zenith of the world’s largest empire.

Continue your cultural exploration with a visit to the ancient Erdenezuu Monastery, one of the biggest Buddhist centers in Mongolia, boasting walls built using the ancient capital’s wall and rich history embedded within.

Day 9Back to city life

Bid farewell to the nomadic lifestyle, newfound friends, endless steppes, and untouched wilderness. After a final breakfast in the nomadic setting, savor your time until you reach Ulaanbaatar.

Upon arriving in Ulaanbaatar, have a farewell lunch at a Mongolian restaurant which serves authentic Mongolian meals, accompanied by a traditional performance. Let the captivating displays of Mongolian traditional arts and music bring a delightful close to your journey.
