Itinerary

Day 1Where ancient tradition and urbanization coexist

“After resting from your flight, explore the city with your guide. It’s a city where ancient tradition and urbanization coexist. Visit the serene Buddhist temple located in the middle of the so-called Mongolian ‘Wall Street.’ Reach the highest point in UB to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. In the evening, board the train to enter a different world – the world of nomads!”

Day 2Welcome to the world of nomad

“Can you imagine building your own home to stay in while traveling? A fully operational one that’s been used by nomads for thousands of years? And even more amazing, within 2-3 hours… This is why nomads can move at least 4 times a year. No worries, locals will help you to build your home.

Also, you will be given traditional Mongolian clothing during your stay.

Built your home, wore your clothes…

Your life as a nomad begins today!

Day 3Adventures and discoveries in every turn

“Nomads have spent 1000 years perfecting the art of living in the wilderness, and they have preserved this way of life to this day. On this day, you will immerse yourself in the everyday life of the nomads. Men with men, women with women, you’ll live in a way you’ve never experienced before. Learn traditional Mongolian songs while herding animals in the vast valley, collect wood from the high mountains, milk cows, and master Mongolian cuisines. There will be adventures and discoveries at every turn.”

Day 4Immerse yourself deeper into nomads' life

“One day is not enough to learn from nomads; use this day to immerse yourself deeper into nomads’ life. Learn the wisdom of living in the best way possible in a fluctuating atmosphere (-40 to +35 degrees Celsius) without any access to the outside world, including ways to predict the weather and making rope out of animal hair. Charge your spirit on horseback by galloping in the midst of the green.

In the evening, brew pure 20C vodka with your own hands. You can either use it to add more fun to your journey or for medicinal purposes before you sleep. Sleeping outside on the wooden cart under the billions of stars is optional.”

Day 5It is a different life

“Nomads live harmoniously with the land, and in return, the land bestows everything we need. Showing appreciation for Mother Earth and connecting with nature is not just a custom or a vacation; it’s a way of life for nomads. On this day, you will hike to the sacred mountain and pay your respects to it alongside the locals.

Once you step into the Mongolian countryside landscape, even strangers become friends. Hospitality is second nature to us. In the afternoon, visit other local families and engage in casual conversations.

In the evening, bid farewell to your newly made local nomad friends by playing traditional games and savoring a famous Mongolian stone-steamed barbecue, which is typically served to respected guests during special occasions.”

Day 6Camping like a nomad

Blue dramatic mountains, Endless steppe, Green valley, ground water- Untouched and Unchanged… View from the window of the car offers free therapy. It’s time to leave the nomad’s family. On this day you will drive to a 20,000-year-old volcano. Use this chance to connect deeply with one of the wildest places on Earth. Keep in mind, your life as a nomad hasn’t finished yet. Have Mongolian-style camping in the evening- tent, bonfire, barbecue… Sleep in the middle of nowhere…

Day 7Back to Urbanization

Wake up earlier to have breakfast outside in the middle of nowhere

This day you head to Erdenet city- one of the 3 cities in Mongolia. Rest your body in warm zachuzi. Take time to rest your mind, make sense of experience you had in a different world. In the evening, take a train to reach Ulaanbaatar city.

Day 8Enjoy your time in Ulaanbaatar city

Enjoy your time in Ulaanbaatar city

We will pick you up from your train. Spend the afternoon at leisure or explore the city’s shops, art galleries, and museums. Enjoy a farewell dinner at a fine local restaurant. We will transfer you to the airport.
